People who suffer from medical conditions such as alopecia often need a wig because of the hair loss. Psychiatric conditions, medication side effects, and chemical exposure can also lead to hair loss. Poor nutrition and hormone imbalances are also a reason why people get wigs. Also, when people go through chemotherapy, they sometimes turn to wigs because of the hair loss associated with the procedure.

Whether you are putting on a wig out of medical necessity or just to look great, you can have a lot of fun with it. You can finally be someone you have always wanted to be, and you can look great in the process. It is a great way to become someone else, and the best part is, nothing is permanent. If you do not like your look, you can change it immediately. Wigs have hit the mainstream with a force, and they are not going to be leaving anytime soon. People are realizing that wearing a wig saves them a lot of time that they had previously devoted to fixing their hair. They can use the time they save on other, more pressing things.
